I wrote about this in the main blog the other day, so I’m not going to write too much about the circumstances here.
Last weekend I pulled my gear out of Coloblox because I’m hoping to leave Metro Atlanta sometime next year. In place of there, I spun a Nanode up in Linode’s Seattle data center that acts as a Pi-Hole and WireGuard VPN endpoint similar to what I was doing with my host at Coloblox. I also moved my websites back to DreamHost along with the domains’ DNS hosting.
The portable network is now back to just the hAP ac2 which is running OpenWrt again. I had to do some adjustments with OpenWrt 23.05’s handling of the internal switch, but we’ll be up and running with it.
Until next time!
